Education & Training

• Studied percussion under Jabi Alonso at the Juan Crisóstomo Arriaga Conservatory in Bilbao.

• Completed advanced studies in Classical Percussion at Musikene (Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco), mentored by Jabi Alonso, Lorenzo Ferrándiz, Antonio Domingo, and Jose Trigueros.

• Participated in numerous percussion workshops across various styles, including classical, modern, Afro-Cuban, Basque, Iberian, and global hand percussion.

• Received instruction from esteemed percussionists such as Madelin Espinosa, Changuito, El Panga, Ruy López Nussa (Cuba), Jon Andoni Pérez, Bibiche Touré, Ali Mara (West African percussion), Aleix Tobías, Vanesa Muela, Emmanuel Séjourné, Robert Van Sice, and Daniel Berg.

Artistic Endeavors & Collaborations

• Founder and director of Kuttune, a Basque folk and world music ensemble established in 2017.

• Performed at prominent festivals including the Quincena Musical de San Sebastián, Heineken Jazzaldia, Basque Fest 2019, Klatovy Folklore Festival (Czech Republic), Võru Folklore Festival (Estonia), International Folklore Festival of Leuven, Tolosa Choral Contest (2019), Musiquem Lleida (2018), Zarata Fest XIV, and Aurrera Fest.

• Collaborated with various orchestras and ensembles such as the Basque Youth Orchestra (EGO), the Euskadi Symphony Orchestra (OSE), and the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra (BOS).

• Engaged in stage productions including El pequeño deshollinador, AR BO LA RE, and operas like Turandot, Tosca, Carmen, and Werther as a vocalist, as well as the production Boza as a percussionist.

• Founder and director of Bilbo Beat, a music school in Bilbao dedicated to contemporary music education and community engagement.

• Serves as a percussion instructor at the Julia Foruria Professional Conservatory, mentoring students across various levels.
