Sofía (Granada, 1997) is a versatile and expressive violinist whose musical path bridges classical tradition and contemporary innovation. Trained in Granada, Motril and later at Musikene (Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco), she completed advanced violin studies under Aitzol Iturriagagoitia, followed by a Master’s Degree in Violin at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp (2023).
Her career includes performances with major Spanish orchestras, chamber ensembles and interdisciplinary projects, while also cultivating an open, exploratory approach to sound and collaboration.
She is currently a member of the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia, the Camerata Garnati, and the OCAL (Orquesta Ciudad de Almería), all since 2024. In 2022, she co-founded BeSharp, an innovative violin–piano–electronics duo with composer-pianist José Ángel Babiano.
